Introduction to FPD, Liquid crystal materials and cells, Electro-optic effects in TN liquid crystal, Light incident angle through anisotropic media, modified nematic liquid crystal displays, bistable liquid crystal displays, address schemes for LCD, passive matrix addressing of TN displays, passive matrix addressing of bistable displays, addressing of LCD with a-Si TFT, addressing of LCD with poly Si-TFT, colour filter and cell assembly, ASIC design flow, PLL design, voltage boost circuit of LCD, voltage boost circuit of backlight, and DAC design.
