This course both provides the digital logical concepts and trains the student how to use the computer-aided design tools to simulate and to implement the advanced FPGA system. The contents of this course are listed as following: 1.Design concepts to logic circuits 2.Structure, data type and operator 3.Combinationa-circuit and Sequential-circuit 4.Function/process and task/attribute 5.Architectural design 6.Functional and timing simulation 7.Synthesizer 8.State machine design 9.Pipelined process 10.RAM and ROM 11.ASIC design and implementation.
