This course introduces fundamental theory and practical applications of Petri nets, including the following topics: 1) Discrete Event Systems 2) Petri nets: Definitions and Properties 3) Modeling and Analysis 4) Supervisory Control Theory 5) Petri Net Controller Design 6) Special Classes of Petri nets 7) Practical Applications This course is most useful for graduate students working on control, automation, system integration, and ICT fields.
